Civil Court HearingThe plaintiff prepares a statement of claim, which includes a concise statement of material details on which the plaintiff relies. Criminal Indictments and Informations (Tracks two, three, & four) are assigned a trial date at the Rule four-215/Scheduling hearing. A governmental agency does not pay a fee at the time of filing but should put the government code that makes it possible for the waiver of charges on the face of the complaint or pleading. Even so, if you cannot attend the hearing, the court may well enable them to present the case for you.

Lines and letters of agreement to move scheduled hearing dates or to inform the Court of settlements may well be faxed to the Assignment Office for reference info only. As with ordinary actions if no response is received, the court will most likely grant the order sought together with an award of expenses. Hearings will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, at 9:15 a.m. The tentative ruling process described in San Joaquin Local Rule 3-113 will apply. At the end of the hearing the judge will say what the outcome of the case will be. This is referred to as giving the judgment.
